Harriet Colyer 
Harriet was born on September 27th, 1818 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Harriet's father was John Wesley Colyer and her mother was Lydia Memes Purvis. Her maternal grandparents were James Purvis and Rhoda Roberts. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named St. Clair, Lindsey Robert, Cyrenus Wait, Jehu, James Perry, Martin, Charles Grenade, Stephen, Elizabeth and Manerva (Menerva). She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 83 in 1901.General Notes
