Joseph Cockriel 
Joseph was born in 1835 in Grayson Co, KY and his baptism took place in Census 1880. Joseph's father was Andrew Jackson Cockriel and his mother was Mary Sirles. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Sirles and Martha Roberts. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Stephen, George Washington, Thomas C., John W., Margaret, Lucinda, Martha, Rebecca and Mary J.. He was the oldest of the ten children.General Notes
