Isabel of was born in 1272. Isabel of's father was Alfonso X of Castile and Leon and her mother was Violante of Aragon. Her maternal grandmother was VIOLANTE OF HUNGARY. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Ferdinand, Sancho IV of, Pedro of, Juan of, Jaime of, Berenguela of, Beatrice of, Constanza of, Violante of and Leonar of. She was the second youngest of the eleven children.General Notes
