Tye Recie was born on February 22nd, 1888 in Henderson Co, TN and her baptism took place in Census 1900. Tye Recie's father was James Monroe Cary and her mother was Cynthia Jane Akin. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Harrison Cary and Polly. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Walter Luther C., Herbert Clay, Laura Antinet, Dora Rosabelle, Addie V. and Martha Lou Ella. She was the youngest of the seven children.General Notes
