Jane Cary

Jane was born in 1490 in Clovelley, Devonshire, England. Jane's father was Robert Cary and her mother was Jane Carew. Her maternal grandparents were Nicholas Carew and Margaret de Dinham. She had two brothers and a sister, named John, William and Margaret. She was the second oldest of the four children.
