Geraldine V.'s father was William Henry 'Willie' Cary and her mother was Johnie B. Unknown. Her paternal grandparents were William Alexander 'Pope' Cary and Eliza J. Webb. She had three brothers and three sisters, named J. Vaughan, Horace, Theodore Marcus, Clara Belle, Ruby and Alice May.General Notes
