James Arthur Bryant 
James Arthur was born on October 9th, 1859 in Clarksville, Red River County, Texas. James Arthur's father was Joseph Roberts Bryant and his mother was Mary Ann Butler. His paternal grandparents were Solomon George Bryant and Lavinia Roberts. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James Thomas "Tommy", William "Will" Louis, Hooker H., Mary Elizabeth, Ida, Ollie and Amanda "Johnnie" Jane. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had two half-sisters named Lucy and Buelah Beatrice. He died at the age of 63 on May 26th, 1923. He was buried in Pilot Point Cemetery, Denton County, Texas.General Notes
