James Alexander Bryant 
James Alexander was born about 1847 in Indiana. James Alexander's father was James Robertson Bryant and his mother was Nancy Rogers. His paternal grandparents were Solomon George Bryant and Lavinia Roberts. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Louis Solomon, Corrina, Mary Lavina and Nancy L. M.. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named George Reily, Julia Josephine, Margaret M. and Martha S. C..General Notes
