Clay Bryant 
Clay was born about 1853 in Indiana. Clay's father was Claiborne Roberts Bryant and his mother was Mary Ann Berry. His paternal grandparents were Solomon George Bryant and Lavinia Roberts. He had four brothers and a sister, named Frank, James A., Albert C., John and Sarah Elizabeth "Betty". He was the oldest of the six children.General Notes
