Brogyntyn (Brogyntyn) 
Brogyntyn, known as Brogyntyn, was born in 1128 in Of Montgomeryshire, Wales. Brogyntyn's father was Madog ap Maredydd Prince of Powys and his mother was verch Maer. His paternal grandparents were Maredudd ap Bleddyn Prince of Powys and Hunydd verch Einudd. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Owen Brogyntyn ap, Gruffydd Maelor ap, Cynwrig Efell ap, Gwenllian verch, Marared verch and Eva verch. He died at the age of 60 in 1188.General Notes
