George Samuel Bowles 
George Samuel was born on December 10th, 1877 in Hopkins Co, KY and his baptism took place in Census 1920. George Samuel's father was Jesse Bowles and his mother was Caroline D. Rhew. His maternal grandparents were William N. 'Billy' Rhew and Celestia Jane Clayton. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William T., Radford Monroe, Columbus, Virgil P., Minnie P., Ida J., Valuar Delaney, Maggie and Debbie. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 70 on January 24th, 1948 in Hopkins Co, KY. He was buried on January 25th, 1948 in Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Madisonville, Hopkins Co, KY.General Notes
