Catherine Borthwick

Catherine was born in 1467 in Glencairn, Dumfries, Scotland.¹ Catherine's father was Sir William of Borthwick and her mother was Mariota Hoppringill. Her paternal grandparents were William Borthwick and <Unknown>. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Adam, Alexander, Agnes, Christine, Mary and Margaret. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
