Minnie May Bishop 
Minnie May was born on July 25th, 1897 in , , Texas, USA.1 Minnie May's father was Jeston Bishop and her mother was Mattie Peninton. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Earl Bishop and Naomi Jane Shipley. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin F., William, Henry Jeston, Henry, Wessie, Willie, Eugena E., Emmie Caroline, Naomi Jane, Rosa and Lillian. She was the youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 81 on August 25th, 1978 in Temple, Bell County, Texas, USA. Mrs. Prewitt
Belton - Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Prewitt 91, of Belton will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Heartfield Funeral Home, Rev. Willie Turrell officiating. Burial will be in McDowell Cemetery.
Mrs. Prewitt died in a Belton hospital Friday night after a long illness.
She was born in Mills County and had lived in Bell County and Belton most of her life. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include four sons, Preston Prewitt, Gordie Prewitt, Earnest Brown and Robert Brown, all of Belton; two daughters, Mrs. Mattie Prewitt of Belton and Mrs. Junie May Worchester of Houston; four sisters, Mrs. Betty Whiteley of Killeen, Mrs. Minnie Smith of Belton, Mrs. Rosie Whiteley of San Diego, Calif. and Mrs. Nay Morrison of Nacogdoches; a brother, Wesley Bishop of Austin.
Mrs. Prewitt's husband died in 1949."
Pallbearers will be Orville Wood, Wayne Drake, Floyd Kelly, Dan Kelly, Edward Kelly and Wilburn Adams.
