Sir William Berkeley 
Sir William was born in 1634 in Bruton, Somerset, England. Sir William's father was Sir Charles Berkeley and his mother was Penelope Godolphin. His paternal grandparents were Sir Maurice De Berkeley and Elizabeth Killigrew. He had three brothers named Sir Maurice, Charles and John. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 32 in 1666.-
