Sam Barneycastle 
Sam was born in 1903 in North Carolina.1 Sam's father was John Mann Barneycastle and his mother was Beulah Ellen Foster. His maternal grandparents were Henry Naylor Foster and Camelia CORNATZER. He had a brother and five sisters, named Frank, Mattie, Lizzie, Polly, Pearl and Bell. He was the youngest of the seven children.-
