Sarah Jane Barbee 
Sarah Jane was born on February 28th, 1831 in Orange Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1900. Sarah Jane's father was John Barbee and her mother was Sally Roberts. Her maternal grandparents were Willis B. Roberts and Wife Unknown. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Willis Hanes, John Wesley, William Frederick, Francis Marion E., Sidney Gray, Susan E., Nancy Haseltine and Malinda Winnie. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 70 on May 25th, 1901.General Notes
