Sidney Seward was born on October 11th, 1853 in Cleburne Co., AL.. Sidney Seward's father was William Howard BURDETTE and her mother was Julia Ann PRATHER. Her maternal grandparents were William Welsh PRATHER and Sidney Norman GLAZE. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Otis Smith, James Alexander, Harriett Ann, Nancy Jane, Sarah Elmira, Eliza Frances, Amanda Symington and Willie Eugenia. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 74 on May 2nd, 1928 in Helicon, Winston Co., AL..-
