Woodville was born on September 2nd, 1826 in West Union, Adams Co., OH.. Woodville's father was Edmund Woodville BROWNING and his mother was Frances Elizabeth Clark GORDON. His paternal grandparents were Hon. Thomas BROWNING and Elizabeth SEWRIGHT. He had six brothers and a sister, named Robert Lewright, George Thomas, Gordon, Charles, Henry, Malcolm Harrison and Blossom. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 33 on June 27th, 1860 in Indianapolis, Marion Co., IN..-
