Silas H. BROWNING Sr. 
Silas H. was born on January 15th, 1855. Silas H.'s father was William Lloyd BROWNING III and his mother was Margaret A. LILLARD. His paternal grandparents were William Lloyd BROWNING Jr. and Elizabeth FUNKHOUSER; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin LILLARD and Elizabeth BROWNING. He had a brother and five sisters, named Benjamin William, Elocia, Betty, Annie L. (Or M. ), Lucy Catherine and Elocid Edwina. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 34 on October 19th, 1889. He was buried in Masonic Cemetery, Culpeper Co., VA..General Notes
