Rebecca Ann was born about 1841 in Illinois. Rebecca Ann's father was Gilbert BROWNING and her mother was Elizabeth STEELE. Her paternal grandparents were Elijah G. BROWNING and Jane (Mrs. Elijah) BROWNING. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Samuel Stack, Elijah W., Oliver, Solomon Samuel, John, Mary, Louisa Melissa and Cynthia L..
