Orvon Grover 'Gene' was born on September 29th, 1907 in Tioga, Grayson Co, TX and his baptism took place in Census 1920. Orvon Grover 'Gene''s father was Delbert Autry and his mother was Elnora 'Nora' Ozment. His paternal grandparents were Elijah William Autry and Mary Elizabeth McCauley. He had a brother and three sisters, named Dudley Don, Verda, Wilma Geneva and Bessie. He had a half-brother named Ray. He died at the age of 91 on October 2nd, 1998 in Studio City, Los Angeles Co, CA.General Notes
