Martha Fidela was born on October 6th, 1868 in Carroll Co, TN. Martha Fidela's father was Samuel Walter Autry and her mother was Rilla Rogers. Her paternal grandparents were Rev. Elijah Henry Autry and Mary Louise Parish. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Henry Clinton, Addison Lee, Bedford Jay, Joseph J., Mary Ida, Margaret Emma, Nelia and Laura Deen. She was the second oldest of the nine children.General Notes
