John Armstrong 
John was born on October 13th, 1717 in Brookboro, Fermanagh, Ulster, Ireland. John's father was James Armstrong and his mother was Mary Campbell. His maternal grandfather was William Campbell. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Andrew, Edward, William, Robert, George, James, Mary, Frances and Margaret. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 81 on July 11th, 1799 in Lancaster, Stokes, South Carolina.-
