Elizabeth Anscell 
Elizabeth was born in 1560 in Barford, Bedford, England.1 Elizabeth's father was Thomas Anscell and her mother was Elizabeth Wheatley. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Anscell and Wethlyan Powell; her maternal grandparents were Robert Powell Wheatley and Catherine Fyssher. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Nicholas, Wheatley, Oliver, Thomas, Agnes, Rose, Mary, Temperance, Anne and Anscell. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.-
