George Roberts

George was born in 1845 in Granville Co, NC.¹ George's father was McKinsey Patterson Roberts and his mother was Rebecca Jones. His paternal grandparents were George Roberts and Nancy Mize. He had eight brothers and a sister, named James Dean, Duane M., Elijah Adolphus, Francis, William Therophilis, Eaton L., Thomas H., McKinsey Patterson and Sylvester 'Vesta' Mae. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 35 in 1880.¹
