James L. Bateman

James L. was born in January 1895 in IA. James L.'s father was Thomas F. Bateman and his mother was Martha Ella Unknown. His paternal grandparents were George Bateman and Mary Rebecca Grant. He had a brother and three sisters, named Thomas F., Oriel, Bessie B. and Vernie E.. He was the second oldest of the five children.
