Thomas was born in 1206 in Amington, Warwickshire, England. Thomas' father was Osbert de Clinton and his mother was Elysont Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Osbert de Clinton and Margaret de Hatton. He was an only child. He died at the age of 71 in 1277.-
