Sarah E was born on July 25th, 1869 in Kentucky. Sarah E's father was John Adams Crawford and her mother was Mahala Virginia Willett. Her paternal grandparents were John Andrew Crawford and Lucy Hiatt; her maternal grandparents were Edward Clark Willett and Mahala McMurray. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Johnnie, Charles Claud, Gordon, Cordie May and Eula May. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Lucian James, Alvin Earl, John Dee, William Bryan, Goebel Millay, Magdalene Virginia, Anna Elva, Martha Veronica, Pattye Vivian and Bernice Loretta. She died at the age of 94 on October 27th, 1963 in Jefferson county, Kentucky.-
