Samuel Cleage 
Samuel was born on August 15th, 1837 in McMinn county, Tennessee. Samuel's father was Alexander Cleage and his mother was Jemima Hurst. His maternal grandparents were Elijah Hurst and Mary Lane. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Alexander, Elijah, David Lewis, John Henry, William Crutchfield, Sarah Elizabeth, Mary Malvina, Jemima Ida and Katherine Keith. He was the third oldest of the ten children.-
