Alcinda Jane was born on October 9th, 1847 in Fairmont, (Marion Co.), West Virginia. Alcinda Jane's father was Michael George Snoderly and her mother was Mary Michael. Her paternal grandfather was George Snoderly; her maternal grandparents were John Michael and Selah Wade. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Elmus, John E., Hulda and Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 78 on September 25th, 1926 in Fairmont, (Marion Co.), West Virginia. She was buried on September 27th, 1926 in Fairmont, (Marion Co.), West Virginia.-
