Samuel Freelin Smith

Samuel Freelin was born on August 26th, 1876 in Ashland, (Greenup Co.) Kentucky.  Samuel Freelin's father was George Washington Smith and his mother was Carilda Jane Moore.  His paternal grandfather was Wilson Smith. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named George Washington, William H., Elouisa J., James Edward, John C., Charles W., Henry Wilson, Thomas F., Milton B., Emma Elizabeth, Minnie M. and Laura P..  He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 32 on January 1st, 1909.
