John Wesley Pewitt 
John Wesley was born on April 27th, 1860 in Fulton Co., Kentucky. John Wesley's father was Malachi Pewitt and his mother was Sophronia Jane Beasley. His maternal grandparents were Zachariah Beasley and Nancy Adams. He had five brothers and four sisters, named James Scott, William Henry, Jefferson Davis, Robert Hays, George Washington, Nancy Frances, Mary Alice, Melvin and Martha Udora. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 62 on July 9th, 1922. He was buried in Palestine Cemetery, (Fulton Co.), Kentucky.-
