America J. Overbey 
America J. was born in February 1889 in Tennessee. America J.'s father was Alexander Overbey CSA and her mother was Mary Jane Wolfe. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Overbey Jr and Sarah Frances Parker. She had two brothers and two sisters, and also three siblings of unknown gender, named John Daniel, Grover Cleveland, Ida B., Bessie L., J. W., S. A. and Lou. She was the third youngest of the eight children.-
