Richard T. was born on January 20th, 1881 in Hickman Co., Tennessee. Richard T.'s father was James Wilson McCord and his mother was Mary Ann Rainey. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Garton Newton McCord and Lucretia Martin. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John Newton, James Harden (Jim), Daniel Calvin, William, Douglas, Lucretia (Lou) Lawrence, Rebecca M. A.(Becky) and Della. He died at the age of 72 on December 11th, 1953 in Hickman Co., Tennessee. He was buried in Mccord Cemetery, (Hickman Co.), Tennessee.-
