Joseph Issac Alexander(Alex) was born on March 7th, 1886 in Hickman Co., Tennessee. Joseph Issac Alexander(Alex)'s father was Daniel Kinsey McCord and his mother was Nancy Lucretia L. Martin. His paternal grandparents were John S.R.or K. McCord and Mary Parker. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named John Swan Jackson, Thomas Jerome (Tommy), James Daniel (Jim), Alice, Mary (Mollie) Fatima Jane, Nancy Elizabeth, Sarah (Fran) Frances, Sidney Faye Tymie, Ida Jemima, Ara A. and Julia M.. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 57 on June 24th, 1943 in Hickman Co., Tennessee. He was buried in Groves Cemetery, Hickman, Tennessee.General Notes
