John Allen was born in Williamson Co., Tennessee. John Allen's father was Joel Gooch Beasley and his mother was Martha Elizabeth Craig. His paternal grandparents were Little Berry Beasley and Margaretta Etta Pugh. He had a brother and two sisters, named William, Margaret Etta and Sarah Harriet. He died on May 12th, 1952.-
