Robert Bates Jr 
Robert was born on January 16th, 1786 in Albemarle Co., Virginia. Robert's father was Robert Bates and his mother was Susannah (Unknown). He had a brother named Rowland Horsley. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 48 on August 1st, 1834 in Hickman Co., Tennessee.
