Ralph Barlow 
Ralph was born about 1605.1 Ralph's father was Edward Barlow Esquire and his mother was Joan Rishton. His paternal grandparents were Arthur Barlow and Abigail Caddie; his maternal grandfather was William Rishton. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Richard, Henry, Abigail and Mary. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died in 1653 in Northampton, VA.1 General Notes
Merchant; grantee in 1646 of land in Elizabeth City, Virginia, and aresident there, with his brother, Henry, in 1650; patentee in 1649 ofland in Northampton, Virginia.
John Ellzey of Northampton, grandson of John Ellzey of Southampton,step-father of Ralph Barlow, was executor of the latter's will andeventual heir of his land.
