Steven Adelman 
Steven was born in 1865. Steven's father was Jacob Adelman and his mother was Margaret Balmain. He had four brothers and a sister, named Conrad, George, Joe Frank, John and Katie.General Notes
Steven was born during the turbulent times of the Civil War, and grewup on his father's 450 acre farm that stretched from about where thebeltline now beets the old lane, east to Veach Road, south about amile and back. The original Adelman home was located where the Robyhome now stands (circa 1985).
After his father's death, the farm was divided seven ways amongst thechildren. Steven received 45 acres where Katie Lea lived her entirelife. Steven was the only Adelman child who did not sell his land.It remained in the family at least through 1985.
