I Hannah Brooks of Springfield in the Co. of Hampshire, MA, wife of Noah Brooks of Springfield aforesaid, calling to mind the mortality of Body and knowing it is appointed to all men once to Die do make and ordain by and with consent of my Husband Noah Brooks, this my last will and Testament.
Principally and first of all I command my Soul to God, my Creator in Humble Hopes of Eternal Happiness, through the Merits of my Savior Jesus Christ, my Body I commit to the Earth with decent Christian Burial at the direction of my executor hereafter named. My estate I dispose of as follows: to my son AMBROSE NICHOLSON, I give Devise and bequeath the whole of my real Estate saving whiich I have hereafter given to my husband Noah Brooks, and my Grandchild Jeduthan Sanderson, all lying and being in Springfield.
I give and devise to my husband, Noah Brooks the northerly half of the Dwelling house in which we now Dwell and the liberty of laying wood on the ground adjoining the back side of said house together with the southerly half part of the homelot on which we now dwell during the term of his natural life. I also give him my 10 acre lot during his natural life.
I give and bequeath to my son HENRY NICHOLSON 6 lbs lawful silver money to be paid him within one year after my decease by my son Ambrose Nicholson out of what I have given him.
I give, devise and bequeath to my grandchild Jeduthan Sanderson the house and homelot whereon and in which we now dwell after the expiration and determanation of the aforesaid uses and bequests given my said husband during his natural life. I also give my said grandchild Jeduthan Sanderson my 10 acre lot after the decease of my sd husband Noah Brooks; the aforesaid house and homelot with the 10 acre lot I give to my said grandchild, to him his heirs and assignes forever he paying the sum of 36 shillings to each of my Grandchildren hereafter named: Amarziah Sanderson & Hannah Lamton, wife of Matthias Lamton (Samton, Laniton, Lamton) to Sarah Whiting, wife of William Whiting, and to Charlotte Sanderson & Cecil Sanderson, children of my Dau. Sarah, wife of Medad Sanderson, late dec'd after the decease of my said husband Noah Brooks.
And I hereby nominate and appoint my son Ambrose Nicholson and William Pynchon, Jun Esq. executors of this my last will and Testament and direct them to divide my wearing apparrell equally between my granddaughters: Hannah, Sarah, Charlote & Cecil which wearing apparrel I hereby give and Bequeath to them in equal shares; to be divided as aforesaid and I hereby revoke all former wills by me heretofore made and I declare this and this only to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof we, Noah Brooks and Hannah Brooks, the sd. Noah in token of his free consent to the foregoing devises and bequesta have hereunto set our hands and seals this 4th(?) day of January 1782

....this 24 Oct 1753, I Pelatiah Glover of Springfield, Hampshire Co.,MA.... bequeath to Hannah, my Dear and well beloved Wife, and to her heirs and assignes forever all my real estate, lands, tenements, and edifices, and Building, and Right and title in Common and Undivided lands. Wheresoever and whatsoever in the township of Springfield aforesd or any where else, she paying all my just debts and funeral expences and furthermore my will and pleasure is that in case it be needful, necessary and convenient for the payment of my just debts that any of my land be disposed of for the payments of my sd debts that then my meadow by the Town Street opposite to the Ferry land and my lot in the Plain Field next to the great river be sold and disposed of for the payment of the same....
Northampton,MA Probate office Box 105-36: Guardianship of Henry Nicholson, her son and a minor of above 14 years of age and one of the heirs of henry Nicholson of Hartford - Jonathan Pierce of Hadley, Taylor and Noah Parsons of Northampton, hoeman, both ion the Co. of Hampshire, MA as bondsmen for Hannah Glover, wife of Peletiah Glover to be guardian to her son. wit: Joseph Lyman and Mercy Lyman. 14 Jul 1752.
