Richard Baldwin (1622-1665) came from Aston-Clinton, Buckinghamshire, England on the 'Martin" to Milford, Conn in 1638. He was a son of Sylvester Baldwin, Jr. who died on the voyage to America, and Sarah Bryan. Richard frequently appeared as attorney in General Court at New Haven, free planter in 1639, town clerk in 1648, rep to the General Court from 1660 to 1665. He died at Hartford, Conn
