Dwight was a Captain in the Connecticut Company Governor's Foot Guard.
Prior to his death,he was in charge of Hartford Dog Show.
He was made a member of The Oder of the Founders and Patriots of America, Society No.306, General No. 1399 on May 27,1925.
He was made a member of the Connecticut Society of the Sons of the American Revolution on February 23,1925. National No. 41161, State No. 2676.
Dwight is buried in Rose Hill Cemetary in Rocky Hill,CT in Section 8.
