Notes of Francis Beach say wife was Eliza Castle of Roxbury. Michael was in the Revolution and served as an artillery man at Ticonderoga and Crown Point. He was a pioneer of Braddock's Bay on Lake Ontario, near Rochester, in 1800, and was the one who later purchased land in Michigan, but the census of 1790 gives a Michael of Litchfield town and county, who had one male over 16 and 1 male under 16 and three females and a Michael of Cloverlock, NY with 1 male over 16, four under 16 and three females. - Beach Family Magazine.
