On May 22, 1746, Faith Shaw was appointed administratix of the estate of Decon James Shaw of Plympton. On July 11, 1749, Mehitable and Faith Shaw, minor children of James chose their mother Faith to be their guardian. On 14 July 1747 the widow received her dower, and household goods to support her and her children. In 29 August 1749 Ephraim Shaw of Plympton, laborer, received the remainder of the estate of his father James Shaw of Plymptom, laborer, received the payments to his siblings James, Mehitable, Faith and Lemuel
