Samuel joined the First Presbyterian Church, Mt. Morris, NY on July 13, 1816. According to the Livingston Register, pg. 3, he was Town Officer, Apr. 8, 1828 and listed under Temperance, Sept. 16, 1828. Land records for Mt. Morris, Liber 12, pg. 75, 1833: Grantee - Samuel O. Beach, grantor - Martin Beach and wife; Liber 13, pg. 517, 1835: Grantee - Samuel O. Beach, Grantor - Mary Murray; Liber 12, pg. 93, 1833: Elizabeth - Samuel O. Beach - sold; Liber 12, pg. 75, 1833: Mary Beach sold to Samuel O.; Liber 15, pg. 109, 1835: Elizabeth & Samuel O. sold.

Martin & Mary Beach - bounded on north by Genesee River, east land transferred to Mrs. Elwyn - south highway leading from Geneseo to Mt. Morris - west by land sold to him by Benjamin Rogers.

The 1850 Knox County OH Census states that Samuel was a lawyer and born in CT; the 1860 Knox County, 5th Ward, Mt. Vernon Census states S. O. Beach, cabinet maker, was born in NY. Samuel died in Clinton Township, Knox County, OH; death record - Court of Common Pleas, Probate Division.
