‌John and Ruth were married in a religious ceremony on August 21st, 1726 in Kingston, Massachusetts.¹   They had four sons and nine daughters, named Sylvanus, Ichabod, Lemuel, Nathan, Content, Hannah, Hope, Lucy, Lydia, Patience, Rhoda, Ruth and Zilpha.
