Alice La was born about 1253 in Of, Ashby, Leicestershire, England.¹ Alice La's father was II Alan and her mother was Helen (Ellen) De Quincy. Her paternal grandparents were Roger La Zouche and Margaret; her maternal grandparents were Roger DeQuincy and Helen (Elena) Of Galloway.
