Walter was born on September 17th, 1888.1   Walter's father was William Henry Yeoman and his mother was Ann Jane Bird.  His paternal grandparents were Redden Yeoman and Elizabeth Daniel; his maternal grandfather was Elbert Bird. He had four brothers and a sister, named Ralph, George, Herman G., Gordon Henry and Ida.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 79 on November 17th, 1967.1
