Laura Eugenia was born on July 20th, 1837.1   Laura Eugenia's father was Frederick Rosburg Wylly and her mother was Sarah Lewis Cooper.  Her maternal grandfather was Lewis Cooper. She had two brothers and four sisters, named William Bainbridge, Thomas Leonidas, Harriette, Sarah Naomi, Mary M. and Catherine Ann.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.1
