Abel was born on September 25th, 1664 in Springfield, MA.1 Abel's father was Abel Wright and his mother was Martha Kitcherel. His maternal grandparents were Samuel Kitcherel and Martha. He had seven brothers and seven sisters, named Joseph, Henry, Samuel, Daniel, John, Benjamin, Henry, Martha, Martha, Hannah, Sarah, Elizabeth, Elizabeth and Mary.
